Batteries – What You Can and Cannot Ship

Due to fire risk, lithium batteries are classified as Dangerous Goods and subject to strict regulations. Please carefully review the guidelines below before shipping.

Example: Laptop with battery packed separately but shipped in same outer box

Camera & battery with equipment

Only 1 new spare lithium-ion battery per shipment allowed with camera

Must be packed inside original packaging

Loose Lithium-Ion batteries

Power banks, battery packs, cell phone, or laptop battery shipped separately

Standalone lithium batteries, such as battery packs and power banks, are treated as hazardous goods for shipping. Additional fees, packaging requirements, and shipping restrictions apply, and some destinations may not accept them.

Metal lithium batteries are classified as hazardous goods. Additional fees, packaging requirements, and shipping restrictions apply, and some destinations may not accept them.
