About Colonia Colinas de Agua Caliente, Tijuana

Colonia Colinas de Agua Caliente occupies high ground in the Centro delegación, about two and a half kilometres south-east of the Agua Caliente golf course. The name is literal and the street names confirm it — Colina Azul, Colina de la Escondida, Colina de Capistrano — a colonia laid along the contours of the hills behind the Agua Caliente corridor.

It adjoins Lomas Hipódromo and Burócrata Hipódromo, Hacienda Agua Caliente within Centro, and Los Olivos, Los Olivos Norte and Residencial Agua Caliente across the La Mesa line. Colonia Jardines de Agua Caliente lies about 1.2 kilometres to the east; the two share a name and a hillside but are separate colonias in different delegaciones.

There is little commerce inside the colonia — a Calimax and a scattering of shops at its edges — so households drive for anything substantial. That is why online ordering matters here, and why the categories skew larger: appliances, furniture, garden and sporting equipment, where U.S. availability and pricing differ most.

Residents generally collect with several orders waiting.
